"Ink That Lasts a Lifetime"
Two Minds, One Vision
An insight into the lives of our founders, Rony, and Taz, and their commitment to tattooing, artistic expression, and establishing a welcoming environment for each client.

RIP was born from loss and love. I named the studio after my daughter and my best friend, who I lost just three weeks apart. My best friend carried some of my first tattoos on him, so in a way, he’s resting with my art — and that’s where the name truly comes from. Tattooing grew out of my roots as a graffiti street kid, following the same path many of the artists I admired took. Since I was little, I wanted to be an artist. Like the hieroglyphs, I’ve always wanted my art to last forever — and RIP is the space where that vision lives on. I’ve always wanted to be an artist as a kid. like the hieroglyphs I wanted my art to last forever.
The journey from mechanical engineer to tattoo artist was the hardest decision of my life. My parents were strongly against me leaving engineering for art, but I couldn’t ignore my vision. I began secretly teaching myself tattooing, and to refine my craft, I trained in realism under Eric Jaison D’Souza — one of the world’s top 15 tattoo artists. That experience deepened my understanding of intricate detail and lifelike artistry. When I moved to Canada, my only goal was to build a name, a brand, and a lasting legacy in the tattoo industry. Meeting Taz at Rest In Pieces Tattoo Studio was a turning point. Our visions aligned — tattooing wasn’t just a profession, it was the energy that fueled us both. Becoming a co-owner of Rest In Pieces is more than a milestone. It’s about reshaping how tattooing is seen, pushing creativity into new styles, and sharing knowledge with others. Together, we’re building more than a studio — we’re building a movement meant to leave an indelible mark on the industry.
Bailey – The Heart of the Studio

I'm the shop manager who keeps the chaos in check and the ink flowing. Tattoos aren’t just part of the job—they’re a passion. I’ve been rolling with my husband for seven years, and being a mom is my proudest title. When I’m not holding down the shop, you’ll find me at our trailer or belting out shower concerts like I’m on tour.
Every studio needs a heartbeat—and for us, that’s Bailey. As our shop manager, she’s the one keeping everything flowing behind the scenes so our artists can fully focus on their craft. Bailey makes sure clients feel welcomed, supported, and cared for the moment they walk through our doors. She brings the organization, energy, and heart that allow Rest In Pieces to thrive as more than just a tattoo shop—it’s a creative home for everyone.
